Tom and Emily Ford lit up Paris 2024 with an extraordinary double triumph that will go down in British rowing history.

On the morning of Saturday 3rd August 2024, at the Vaires-sur-Marne Nautical Stadium, Emily Ford powered Team GB’s women’s eight to a hard-fought bronze medal. Just 20 minutes later, her brother Tom Ford struck gold with the men’s eight, delivering a stunning performance that crowned Team GB’s dominance on the water.

Both former students of our school, Emily and Tom say their medals are a heartfelt “thank you” to the family, friends, and mentors who paved the way for their success. Their story is one of resilience, teamwork, and pride – a shining example of what dedication can achieve.
